浙江臨海電機有限公司系國有獨資中型企業，是原機械部定點生產中小型水輪發電機的專業工廠，省屬重點企業，現有職工500余人，有七十余人獲得各專業技術職稱，其中工程技術人員38人。全公司擁有生產和試驗設備200余台，大型設備17台，佔地面積5.6萬平方米，建築面積約2萬平方米。生產水輪發電機、小型同步發電機、柴油發電機、振動電動機、電動機及柴油發電機組等六大類產品，年生產能力30萬千瓦。我公司在1990年被命名為國家二級企業，1997年被評定為國家中型企業，1998年被批準為“機電產品進出口自營企業”，2001年底通過ISO9001﹕2000質量管理保證體系認證。水輪發電機在國內中小型水輪發電機行業有一定知名度和市場份額，產品出口亞、非、美洲等國，小型同步發電機批量出口美國，1998-2001年共出口20000多台1000多萬美元。

The products occupy absolute market position in Zhejiang Province, and also definite position in our country. The products sell well at home and abroad. The products are exported to many Asian, African and American countries. Small synchronous generators are exported to the USA in batches. In 1998-2001, over 20,000 units and brought in more than $10,000,000.00.
